To stay updated on announcements related to the API please review this post about the new Developer changelog.
On Monday December 4th, we will be removing web_processing_url from the Checkout API serialization.
The web_processing_url was never documented and never intended to be consumed by Shopify applications. This does not remove any functionality from the API, as the web_url parameter remains and continues to provide the same functionality.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reply to this thread.

Hi, what does the key parameter stand for in the web_url value? Is it possible to retrieve the key value in a normal checkout(checkout not created with the storefront api)?
Thanks for your help.
