Shopify Market - Currency

Hello,
I want to use the new Markets feature of shopify to open the US market. I understand that I need to have Shopify payment to perform the currency conversion. However, I can't install Shopify Payment, is it because I'm in France? Is there a solution to this?

Welcome on the community forum ! 

I'm noticing that you posted your message in English in the French part of the community. I just wanted to let you know that I'm answering in English but I can switch to French if that's better for you.

I totally understand that you want to use our new feature "Shopify Markets" to have an easier currency conversion. Unfortunately this requires to have "Shopify Payments", so if you're based in France, you won't be able to use that feature at the moment. You can find the list of countries where "Shopify Payments" is available here. 

We're working hard to be able to expand this list to more countries, and we do hope to roll it out for France in the future. If you want to be informed as soon as possible, I do recommend to follow our blog, and our changelog. 

Obviously, if you're not Shopify Payments, I recommend you to reach out to your payment provider to see if there is something you could do to impact the currency conversion. What payment provider are you currently using for your store ? I also wanted to let you know that there are apps that could do the trick for your store, you can check those apps on our app store here. I'm still available for any question you may have.

Ah parfait je peux répondre en Fr alors.

J'utilise Stripe et Paypal principalement. J'utilise déjà des applications en surcouche comme best currency et WEGLOT (pour la traduction). La problématique est que après la page panier, la currency est celle du shop par défaut. ce n'est pas optimal.
