We sell custom rugs so we have an app called Dynamic Product Options that lets the customer input his dimensions (length and width) on product page. This automatically updates the price. I believe the app functions by creating a 'hidden' variant of the product.
The prices that are shown BEFORE the customer inputs the dimensions is set by us, in the shopify product editor page. Its the price of a 1,5 x 2 meter size for that rug.
The problem is, when a customer buys (or merely adds to cart) a dimension that result in a SMALLER price than the one set by us, the price that gets shown from then on is this smaller price. Please check the video to understand better: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gHXIlVenw2RYd8prYfCmvMX2CYtXsftF/view?usp=sharing
It seems that the price shown is the price of the cheapest variant.
Is there a way around this?
