Hello,
We have a problem with working of "add to cart" button on our website.
So, on our website we have two types of buttons for product action:
- Add to cart
- Buy now
The thing is that, when you click the add to cart button from landing page or shop page it redirects wrongly. (it redirects as a buy now button). While, when you click on the button on product page or quickview page it redirects just how we want (there is a pop up information saying that the product was succesfully added to the cart).
Shopify support told us that the problem is impossible to fix since this theme that we are using is developed by a third party theme Developer and their line of scope with this is limited as there are functions within the theme that they can't change.
We want the button to work the same everywhere.
I need someone to help our company with this case as soon as possible.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Regards,
Krzysztof Redestowicz

Hi @KrzysztofAKKIN ,
It's normal behavior performed by a few themes if you want to change interaction for add to cart button you have to recode the theme.
Please connect to your theme developer, if required any help feel free to connect.
Hi @gr_trading,
The thing is that the proper working of "add to cart" button is showed from product page or when you click the button from quickview page level. There is an information telling that the product has been succesfully added to the cart and allows to continue shopping.
We want the button to work like this everywhere.
