Hello.
I would like to ask if allowing «Admin» on robots.txt would result in some sort of exploit of my Shopify store?
I was contacted by someone regarding allowing everything in my robots.txt file as it did not lead to proper SEO by having everything disallowed.

If the email came from a "Ceritified Shopify Partner" it's just a scam, had a few recently including at least one with nonsense about the robots.txt file.
The default robot.txt file that Shopify generates works well for SEO purposes. In my experience, most high raking sites have not modified theirs.

Not necessarily a partner, just digital marketers designers that want an opportunity to help out. But if allowing the admin page on the robots.txt file is not dangerous, it would be okay to know. In general I’m just staying clear from them all.
