Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 401. Private access token

I am trying to create a native app and I have been having this error popup constantly

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 401 () 

 pricate_access_token seems to be the issue

I have been able to pull the order Id but I cannot use that id to retrieve the order details. Is there a way to fix this? I have been stuck for weeks

To add a bit more context. I am getting this error on the thank you page after creating an extension
