How to set up SMS authentication during customer registration for Shopify

We are using Shopify Plus and the new customer account.
In order to link Shopify accounts and devices uniquely, we would like to set up SMS authentication using phone numbers when customers register for Shopify accounts.
Could you please advise on recommended Shopify apps or methods to achieve this?

We were considering using the Shopify app miniOrange, but it seems that miniOrange does not support OTP via phone numbers when using the new customer account (it only supports OTP via email).
