real or fake shopify email?

Hi!

I got a email from shopifystoreprotector@gmail.com that they detected an issue with my stores Robots.txt File that has been impacting its visibility on search engines.

Is shopifystoreprotector@gmail.com a real email from shopify or is it just a spam / phishing email?

Fake.

Shopify emails have @Shopify.com on their email addresses.

Shopify would never contact you with gmail.com domain so most probably it's a scam email so you can ignore it.
