Shopify API version Support 2022-10

Hi Team,

I have one question about API versions available on the API documentation of Shopify. Recently we built one integration plugin using API version 2022-10, Now, will you please guide me at maximum till what time we can still use the same version of the API?

Are new APIs backward compatible or not?

Hey @deepaksamria 

Shopify supports each API version for 12 months from its release date. In your case, the 2022-10 API version will be supported until October 2023.

Regarding backward compatibility, new API versions can include breaking changes - but these features are deprecated before being removed in a subsequent release, so there's plenty of warning.
