App usage charges in Multi-tier subscription modal
we are working on a 3 tier subscription plan silver, gold and platinum.We will be charging an app charges along with the recurringSubscription charge based on the number of orders placed. the silver allows 50 orders per day and if the store exceeds 50 orders we will be charging 20 cents for silver and 10 cents for gold and 5 cents for platinum.
We have decided to update the app charges on 28th of every month. So if a merchant opts for a plan (eg:gold) on April 20th and we will be calculating the number orders on April 28 for billing from April 20th to April 28th. The charges will be updated to the gold recurringSubscription object. Lets consider the store's billing date is on 5th of every month. The merchant decides to upgrade his plan on 29th April after the appUsageCharges is updated, the previous recurringSubscription object will be cancelled and new plan platinum will be created. What happens to the app charges updated to the gold subscription object. Will that charges considered for the billing or should the charges from the gold recurringSubscription object be updated in the new platinum subscription object. Upon retrieving the gold subscription appUsageCharges the charges updated are still available.
