Developing on my current theme

Hello,

I currently have a store in which I sell my products but I would like to further develop it allowing other users to put listings for certain products that they want to sell on my site.

For this, I have to add certain pages with custom JS, HTML, and CSS code that I write myself together with an SQL database (that I know cannot be directly integrated into Shopify) needed to handle user listings and other stuff.

This requires a lot of development and I would like to know what you think about it, should I try to develop this from Shopify, export my store somewhere else, or maybe rebuild it from zero?
