Error message accepts_marketing can't be saved

We started to receive an error on customer creation today (Customer REST API), and we're not sure what it means - 

Error message:

["{\"errors\":{\"accepts_marketing\":[\"can't be saved\"]},\"error_reference\":\"If you report this error, please include this id: 0ddc27e7-6321-4aa9-a785-ebb50625f594.\"}",

The first timestamp we have of receiving this error: 18 Jan 2024 16:03 UTC

Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

yes, same thing started happening with us 12hr ago.
we have put a hot fix to not send the accepts_marketing attribute and it started working again.
