To start, I cannot believe I have to resort to opening a Shopify account as if I own a store and am writing this discussion post.
I am a customer that ordered from a merchant a few months ago and never received my order. The shop link is unavailable and it seems the shop as a whole is gone after charging numerous customers and running away with the money. I cannot file this as a separate issue because the order confirmation URL is completely nonexistent and even if it did exist, I have never had that exact URL that it is asking me for from any Shopify store I have ever ordered from.
So problem one: the issue an order form is so terribly made we can’t even submit our help without a stupid EXACT URL.
Problem 2: Unless I pay a subscription and create a shop, I cannot speak to an actual person.
Problem 3: There doesn’t even exist an email or phone number to open a ticket. There was one in the past but it has now been replaced with a sh*tty topics page.
I am making this community post in hopes that someone with an actual brain will see this and help me. I simply wish to get a refund because the merchant does not respond (obviously because they scammed us and ran away) but apparently it is IMPOSSIBLE to get genuine support from this terribly made Shopify customer support system.
Just to say, I am having the same issue. There appears to be no support for consumers. Good luck!
I also have had a problem with my not receiving my order. I had no options presented by Shopify to resolve my issues. I to removed my account/app=Force stop.
I was crippled.
