Integrating Memberful Pluging with Shopify for Exclusive Member Discounts On A WordPress SitHello,

Hello,

We have a unique request from our client and could use some guidance. Our client’s website is built on WordPress, and we’ve implemented the Memberful plugin to manage memberships. The client also has a Shopify store and wants to offer exclusive discounts to their members.

Here’s what we need help with:

1. Integration: We need to find the best way to integrate our Members from Memberful on our Wordpress Site with Shopify to provide exclusive discounts for the members. Is there a recommended method or best practice for this integration?

2. Secure Discount Distribution: I think we could work with a coupon code via Email at registration, but I dont want this to be shared from a Member to a bunch on Non Members. 

We appreciate any advice or solutions you can provide to help us achieve this seamlessly and securely.

1. Extract the data from wordpress / memberful into a csv file. You should then be able to import them into Shopify using the "Import" button.

2. Create discount codes and set the "Customer eligibility" section to only allow the customers you imported in step 1. Additionally, you can also limit the use of the codes in the "Maximum discount uses" section.

Ieva here from Matrixify. 

Matrixify is able to do a good job at migrating your Customers from WooCommerce and we also offer a great tutorial to guide you through the process on how that can be done. In regard to memberships and discounts. Matrixify can create discounts and assign them to Customers in your store, but it would not really as a 'membership', but rather just Discounts applied to Customers. A different app may be better suited to actually managing Customer memberships in your Shopify store, but as mentioned, Matrixify can do a great job at actually bringing your Customers over from WooCommerce.
