Is it possible to generate sales reports based on customer segments ?

I want to generate sales reports based on customer segments in my Shopify store.

However, I have encountered a limitation: the customer filter in the report is currently only available for Customer ID, email, name, and type.

Here's a brief overview of the use case:

1. I have implemented metafields to store additional customer information, such as date of birth and gender.

2. I have successfully grouped customers into segments based on metafields.

Now, I want generate sales reports based on date of birth or gender.

My goal is to gain insights into the sales performance among different customer segments, specifically understanding the distribution of sales between men and women.

Could someone please guide me on how to achieve this?

Unfortunately, Shopify does not allow for sales reporting on segments or metafields.

Shopify reports are limited to creating reports from meta fields data; you will need a reporting tool.
