Removal of script tags and additional scripts

Hello!
I have read that using script tags and additional scripts is to be deprecated on August 2025.
Does this refer to or includes JS script used in Settings -> Checkout -> Order status page -> Additional scripts?
Will this be removes as well?
We are currently using a script there to run on Order Confirmation page after the order is created.

Yes, you are correct. Additional scripts will be removed. You can only interact with the "Thank You" page (also known as the Order Success/Status page) by using theme app extensions.

For instance, if you'd like to insert invoice download links, you can use Simple Invoice for that purpose. Our Simple Invoice app is built with the latest technology and is compatible with all Shopify themes. You can install it from this link and activate the theme app extensions to add invoice download links to the "Thank You" page.
