Shopify Buy Shipping Labels API Solution?

We noticed that Shopify has a feature to purchase discounted shipping labels. We have tested this for a few orders and would like to know if there is an API integration so that the shipping labels can be purchased automatically? We would like our warehouse to automate this feature, instead of having to buy the labels one by one.

Example: When our warehouse scans the order, it will print and purchase the label automatically from our Shopify account based on the dimensions, weight, address, box size from our Warehouse Management System.

Our warehouse is using Ship Edge as the WH Management System if that helps.

Hi is there an update regarding this? We want to automate the buying of shipping label  but we cannot find any api endpoint for this.

Yes, there is currently an API in pilot / beta available to purchase
labels. Can you please contact labels-api@shopify.com -- happy to
have a chat to understand your needs and have you on the beta list. If
you'd rather wait for a release, there is no public timeline for that yet.
