Can I disable taxes for wholesale customers on my eCommerce site?

When I looked at the wholesale info for shopify plus it says, 

• The wholesale channel displays only prices that include taxes. To display prices that both include and exclude taxes, consider using an expansion store.

So this means we are unable to turn off taxes being charged for our wholesale customers?  We currently do have a separate store for wholesale stores, but I would like for it to all be under the same website. But charging taxes will be an issue.

Did you find a solution to this? We are starting to research wholesale under the wholesale channel and this is a big issue for us as well.
