Can't reach live phone support for account setup, what to do?

i am extremely frustrated.  I have been trying to get in touch with a live agent over the phone to help me with setting up my account for almost a week now

At this time we're prioritizing text based support, like chat and async messaging, as it's our most efficient and effective way to quickly provide support to merchants. These channels ensure you can get quick access to resources and other support teams, if necesary. You can contact our support team through the Help Center here. If you tell the Help Center assistant your question or problem it can direct you to the right resources or team to help you further. 

 

I may also be able to help you set up your account here if you tell me more about the questions you have. This guide on getting started can help in the meantime as well.

I have a lot of questions that i can't explain thru email or text
in regards to setting up my account

Yes please I desperately need help with my store.
I am extremely frustrated and annoyed about the terrible customer service
Shopify has.
I pay for a monthly subscription and I can’t seem to get any help over the
phone to guide me and direct me with setting up my store. I have a long
list of questions that I seem to not be able to get any help through chat
emails or even our YouTube videos. I would love to speak to a specialist
over the phone as I pay for a subscription, I am a custom But can’t get
customer support anywhere

Weird that David deleted his messages, so I'm unsure if you finally got help in the end....

Either way, I just thought I would point something out, since this seems like your first experience working with a  SaaS or PaaS  company (Shopify). Websites that are essentially renting you the usage of their servers and/or proprietary software for a monthly fee, such as:

  • Shopify,
  • Amazon Web Services
  • Google Cloud Platform

make a CONSIDERABLE amount of money via support, offering plans that allot you half an hour of live phone support per month..... in exchanged for 200ish dollars.

Anyway, in the future, you might wanna check which subscription tier includes live phone support, if you reach a dead end. Youll save yourself a lot of time.
