Do I have to use my own funds to fulfill orders on Shopify or will I get access to customer funds to be able to pay the supplier to ship the item out to them?

Usually, your fund will be hold until items delivery so you must use your fund to fulfill orders.

Dropshipping requires less funds compared to Amazon FBA but it doesnt means no funds, you need to pay for ads, samples and shopify also hold parts of the funds when you have orders, during this period you need to fund yourself.
