Documentation needed to verify you are an authorized reseller

if i am using a dropshipping app from shopifry why do i need to provide that i am an authorized reseller if the app provides the merchandise for me to put on my store?

ive been having the same question and I've been using DSers AliExpress Dropshipping

Been asking myself the exact same question. Why the need for documentation when its Dropshipping and they supply just about everything? Why automation when its not exactly automatic? And where exactly do you even get this needed documentation?
