Does the customer receive the same Royal Mail delivery status email?

Customer makes an order and I receive the Royal Mail delivery status. My question is does the customer get the same Royal Mail delivery status email as me? 

I thought they did as the email has dear Mr Joe Blogg, who is the customer who purchased the product?
