Hello all, could use some help as I'm confused!

I set up a store and added products to it from a single supplier. I'm using DSers and the supplier is on AliExpress. All of my original products I added when I originally built the site are good to go, and I've had orders that have been properly fulfilled.

I went to add some new products, and all of them are showing up as "SOLD OUT". When I got into my store via Shopify and look at my products, it lists the total number of inventory as follows -- "Total inventory at dsers-fulfillment-service: XXXX available" -- but it still shows as Sold Out on my site.

Can anyone assist as to what's happening here?

I've looked online for solutions, but the ones I've found (change variants and simply overwrite the Sold Out) aren't working. First, I have very few variants, so that isn't helpful, and second because I don't want to "trick" the site into thinking something is in stock only to have it attempt to fulfill from my location vs. the dsers-fulfillment-service.

Very frustrating to not be able to add any new products to my site.

Thank you!

Hi, hope these things below can help you:

1. Maybe the problem comes form inventory being assigned to the wrong location. Go to Settings > Locations in Shopify and make sure your DSers fulfillment service is listed as a location. If it’s not, add it, and assign your new products to that location under the product settings

2. Double check that inventory tracking is set up properly? Under Products, click on one of your new products, and scroll to the inventory section. Make sure the “Track quantity” option is enabled and that it’s tied to the DSers fulfillment service

3.  Sometimes new products don’t automatically get published to all sales channels. Go to the product page and make sure it’s available on your online store channel

4. There might be a syncing issue between DSers and Shopify. In DSers, find the product and make sure it’s properly linked to your Shopify store. If it’s not, re-sync the product.

Hope this help!

Hi @HappyCustomers,

It seems you're experiencing an issue with products incorrectly displaying as sold out on your Shopify store.  When you have products with multiple inventory locations, Shopify’s inventory stock can get confused and show the wrong number of available items. So you can do a few things to fix the situation: Why do Shopify Products show Sold Out? Steps to resolve it

Hope this helps! 😊

Found my advice useful? A like or marking it as the solution would be appreciated!
