Dropshipping is a business model that lets you sell products by using a supplier.
Hello,
We are currently moving our wholesale site to its own domain to increase speeds on our retail site with apps and such. We have set everything up, all the pages, products, customers, etc. We are just about ready to launch the new website. However, we are having trouble with our account activation and reset password pages. We are using dawn theme currently and this is what the default code looks like:
As you can see, this page does not look visually appealing at all and could be quite confusing for people because of the white on white on white. The page's footer and header should be black, and that would fix a majority of the issues with the page, but when I try to even go to customize the page, I get this error:
The dropdown on the top of the screenshot works, but when I go to Other > Customer Password Reset or Other > Customer Activate Account this page will pop up with this error.
I am not so sure what to do. At first, I thought it was maybe the code, but I grabbed the code from the original dawn code, pasted it, and nothing changed. After that, I thought that it may be an app (Advanced Registration) that we downloaded to require customers to have an account or apply for one before entering the site. Well, I disabled that from our site, waited like 5 minutes, and tried it again to no avail.
If you have any suggestions or if you can help in any way I would appreciate it!

Here is the code for both account activation and password reset
Hello. If you need help I can go in and make those changes for you. It does need to have a bit more color there.
Hi @ChristinaA
ok that would be amazing! I guess I just wanted to confirm that you work for Shopify? Regarding the password reset page, I just want it to match the other pages CSS. I'm not sure why the footer is white instead of black on just this one page.
Hello, @toofast.
Thank you for reaching out and posting this question!
I understand you're looking to change the appearance and color for the account activation and reset password pages for the Dawn theme.
Since you're using a Shopify-supported theme, then this is something that our Theme Support team can help you with. If your store is subscribed to a plan, you're eligible to use the complimentary design time included with your subscription for this customization. While we’re not able to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community at this time, we’d be happy to continue assisting you through live chat, email, or callback. Please visit the Shopify Help Center and log in to your account to create a support request.
I'd love to know when our Theme Support team can help you with these modifications. Keep me posted!

Hi yes, we are subscribed to a plan. But we are not a new customer. We in fact this website is an old website of mine that I am about to re-publish again. So I don't know if Shopify will still give me the hour of theme design. But I guess I will give it a shot, thanks for the advice! But it still just seems strange that the issue is only present on this one page, and I recently downloaded the free theme so I would assume that none of the old code from this site would have carried over to the Dawn theme I just downloaded right?
Hi, @toofast.
Thank you for following up!
The 60 minutes of complimentary design time does not have an expiration date given that your previous theme hasn't exhausted the allotted time.
Since the Dawn theme is new and it sounds like there is custom coding involved, then the old codes wouldn't be carried over. That being said, to help you with transitioning to a new theme, we do have some suggestions for after installing or updating your theme on the following guides: Updating themes and Upgrading to Online Store 2.0.
If you have any other questions on this topic, don't hesitate to let me know!
