How can I restrict my online store sales to Dutch companies only?

Hi,

How can i make a setting that only Companies can buy from my Shopify store?

I only want to sell in the Netherlands, and only Dutch Companies should be able to buy from my store.

Can somebody give me an advice what is the best way to do this?

Its retail orders. To be more precise, the product is a drink, and the costumers would be only Restaurants, bars and retailers.

Hello @eianszi!

Since you only want to sell in the Netherlands, the first step for you here would be to make sure that in your Settings > Shipping and Delivery > Manage rates section, you only have a Netherlands Shipping Zone. This way, the only country available to customers for shipping will be the Netherlands. I have more info on Shipping zones here in case you wanted to see more detail on how this works. 

As for making your products exclusive to companies, you may need to look into a third party app in order to restrict your store like this. My recommendation is the Locksmith App. This app will allow you to restrict access to your store based on conditions that you can set. These include whether or not the customer is logged in with their customer account, if they have a special tag on that account, if they have a passcode etc. For full list of possibilities, you can see the description on the app listing, where they mention that custom conditions are also available through using Liquid Code.

Could you tell me a little bit more about why you would like to restrict your business to companies only?  What kind of products are you selling? Any detail here would be helpful and I will see if I can offer you any more advice.

This is a Alcoholic Liquor. Currently we do not have the permit to sell it
to Costumers, but to sell it for Companies is legal. Later we will get the
license and we will also sell for everybody, but till that point i would
like to sell only companies.
