How to allocate inventory by warehouse / customer

We sell large, bulky items that require special freight service and have multiple warehouses around the country. Currently, our Shopify Plus account works seamlessly for retail customers but we're trying to figure out the best approach to servicing our Wholesale accounts with Shopify Plus. The unique requirements that we have are:

1 - Wholesale customers need to have different inventory account per warehouse (this can be solved with a separate Shopify account). In other words, retail inventory is separate from wholesale inventory.

2 - Wholesale customers need to be able to order inventory from each warehouse individually. In other words, each order needs to be restricted to a single warehouse.

3 - Ideally, wholesale customers need to be able to order from an order form / list view.

4 - Ideally, we'd show incoming inventory quantities / dates per SKU per warehouse.

Completely open to ideas on how to solve this!
