Dropshipping is a business model that lets you sell products by using a supplier.
Hi everyone,
We use Shopify as a B2B platform. We have a closed system, with approved users that can order for the franchises. Currently we house inventory and our franchisees order products that we ship. What we would like to do is expand the platform to where our franchise group can order from our other approved vendors, and have those vendors ship directly to the franchisee. The goal is to make life easier for our system wherein franchisees do not need to go to five different sites to order.
Our question is on Shopify, or through any partners, is there a connection that will send specific product orders to the applicable vendors. For example, we inventory printed product. That's easy because we control that. We would like to place uniforms, coffee, our powder drink supplier, printed material and graphics, even smallwares, on the site. Have the franchisee order through the one site, but have each product order go to each separate approved supplier that fulfills the order.
My next question is what about questions and communication that a franchisee may have. We would not want to get involved with the process and is there something similar to what is found on Amazon about contact the Seller or in our case Vendor.
If anyone has an answers on this, would love to hear feedback.
