I cannot speak to a support advisor

Hi, I cannot connect to an advisor. The bot would say connecting to an advisor but it would not go past that point. Its like the connecting to an advisor button would just duplicate itself with no connection. The chat bot will just keep repeating itself. I tried to share a screenshot but it is not taking the file for me to upload it. Can someone from shopify please reach out to. It also says your number and email option are no longer available.

Really frustrating !!!! If the chatbot is looping and not connecting you to an advisor, here are a few things to try:

  • Use a different browser or incognito mode – Sometimes, cookies/cache interfere with the chat system.
  • Trying to reach them via Shopify’s Twitter/X (@ShopifySupport) 
  • Submit a new request under a different topic (e.g., Billing or Account Access) to trigger a support response.
