Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.

You can change your store currency directly from your Shopify Admin. You will need to go to Settings and select Store details. From there, scroll down to Store currency, and select your new store currency from the list.

If you aren't able to select a new currency, then you need to contact Shopify Support to change your store currency. You will need to log in, select a relevant topic, then scroll down to view the contact options like live chat, callback our email.
