Dropshipping is a business model that lets you sell products by using a supplier.
Good morning everyone,
I’m experiencing an issue with product synchronization between Gelato and Shopify. I’d like to share the details to see if anyone else has encountered the same problem and how they resolved it.
Images not syncing correctly:
On Gelato, I created products with a custom design on both the front and back. For each product, I selected at least two images in the mockup: the first shows the front, and the second shows the back.
After syncing the products to Shopify, only the first image displays correctly. The second image (the back) displays with an incorrect color (for example, if the product is sand-colored, the second image might appear yellow).
Issue with color change:
When a customer changes the product color using the dropdown menu on Shopify, only the first image updates correctly. The second image remains unchanged or displays the wrong color. In the attached images, the color was changed from sand to azalea.
I’m using the Spotlight theme, but I’m not sure if the issue is related to the theme or the integration between Gelato and Shopify.
You can see an example of the issue here: https://startupfashion.it/
I’ve verified that the images on Gelato are correct and in the right order.
I’ve re-synced the products on Shopify, but the issue persists.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Do you know how to resolve it? Are there specific settings on Shopify or Gelato that I should check?
Thank you in advance for your help!
