Dropshipping is a business model that lets you sell products by using a supplier.
Hi. If our customers check out the products from our website, our suppliers ship the items for us. The items range from 1kg up to 70 kg, heavy and large items. And they use different carriers for that. So Shopify apps seem no use for us.
My question is, how can I manage to set up the shipping cost from our website to match with those of our suppliers so that every check out of our customers can see the shipping cost?
And if they will order like 2 items from different suppliers (heavy and large items) the shipping cost is not that high?
P.S. Domestic delivery only in Australia.
Hi,
You can use custom shipping settings in Shopify for different weights.
Hi,
Thank you for your reply. You mean Creating different profiles for each supplier product, right? Another question, is this the best way to manage the shipping rates of each supplier? (we have 5 suppliers and more than 10 large and heavy products on each of them). By the way, this will work with dropshipping?
Hi again
A follow-up question. Our suppliers are using different carriers (like Aramex, TNT, Hi TRANS, Northline, and many others). We are having a major problem with how to match their cost of shipping on our checkout page. Is there any way I can get the accurate cost of shipping to match theirs? We only ship within Australia.
