Hi @Printlee

I’ve read your question carefully and totally understand your frustration—setting up a payment gateway can be tricky, especially when you're based in a country with limited options like Georgia. Since you've already set up your dropshipping store and just need a working payment processor, let’s go over some solutions.

Understanding the Issue

Your main problem is that most payment gateways either:

  1. Don’t support dropshipping – Some providers have policies against dropshipping due to the high risk of chargebacks.
  2. Don’t accept Georgian businesses – Many global processors don’t operate in Georgia.
  3. Are unresponsive – You’ve tried reaching out, but no luck so far.

Solutions You Can Try

1. Use Alternative Payment Gateways That Work in Georgia

Since Shopify Payments isn’t available in Georgia, you’ll need third-party options. Here are a few that should work for your store:

  • 2Checkout (now Verifone) – Supports dropshipping and is available in Georgia. They have a detailed application process, so make sure your website is fully functional and complies with their policies.
  • Payoneer Checkout – Payoneer supports businesses in Georgia and can be used for eCommerce transactions. You can integrate it via Shopify’s manual payment methods.
  • Opay – A regional gateway that supports Shopify integration.
  • Cryptocurrency Payments – If your audience is open to it, gateways like Coinbase Commerce or BitPay allow you to accept crypto payments.

2. Try Direct Bank Transfers or Manual Payment Methods

If you're struggling to get a payment processor approved quickly, consider adding direct bank transfers or manual payments (cash on delivery, invoice payments, etc.) as temporary options while sorting out a long-term gateway.

3. Look Into Partnering With a Dropshipping-Friendly Payment Processor

Some payment processors have specific rules about dropshipping. Try contacting PayOp or DLocal, as they sometimes accept high-risk business models in certain regions.

4. Open a Business Entity in a Supported Country

This is a more complex but effective solution. Some dropshippers register a U.S. LLC (via Stripe Atlas) or a UK company to get access to better payment gateways like Stripe or PayPal. If you have international connections, this could be an option.

Next Steps

  1. Try signing up for 2Checkout or Payoneer Checkout first.
  2. If they don’t work, look at local options like Opay or crypto payments.
  3. If you want long-term stability, consider opening an LLC in a payment-friendly country.

I know how frustrating this can be, but don't give up! Let me know if you need help with any specific steps.

If you need any other assistance, feel free to ask, and I will try my best to support you.
Best regards,
Daisy.
