I started a e bike conversion kit drop shipping business and got my first sale 2 weeks in i had 600 in payouts and later that night the payout was still pending and i couldn't withdraw the money
i got an email saying your shopify store has been terminated due to terms and service and i didnt get the chance to withdraw the 600
i got in contact with the customer and i have sent emails and no help and now im forced to refund the customer with 600 of my own money
Will the payout get sent to my bank account or will it get sent back to his and how long should i expect this to take
thanks, Cohen
Probably not immediately. If your store was terminated before the payout cleared, Shopify likely froze the funds.
They typically hold money for up to 90 days to cover chargebacks.
If you already refunded the customer, tell Shopify to avoid a double refund.
Email Shopify Risk Team:
risk-management@shopify.com
Ask about your payout and explain the refund.
Check with your bank for pending deposits from Shopify.
Hey @Cohen2,
Thanks for bringing this matter to Shopify community. And I am sorry that your store suspend. If the store suspend then every merchant get worries about the payment.
This is the common. But according to the Shopify terms and conditions if a Store is terminated then pending withdrawal payment take 4 months to come back in your linked payment account.
I hope this could help. If this was helpful mark as Solution and like it.
Thanks
