Unable to add digital products to B2B Order

Our company provides free marketing collateral to go with out products, right now we use a cloud based file sharing platform (box.com) to allow our customers to access this collateral, but now that we are creating this new B2B website we'd like to also allow customers to downland marketing collateral on our website.  I am trying to use a an app "Sky Pilot -Digital Downloads" to attach files to products. However when I try to  add a digital item to the cart there is an error message that pops up saying "This item can't be added to a B2B order"

I spoke with Shopify Plus support about this issue two days ago. They told me that B2B does not support the sale of digital products.

That's a bummer but glad to know- I've been on chat almost everyday with customer service with no help. No one said anything about that- thank you!
