I have been trying to go into a live chat with Facebook support but I cannot respond to their chats as I just get "cant send". So I've had to resort to email which after 5 days of trying has gotten me nowhere but backward. I have tried to do confirm account but I just get this email:

Our records indicate that your payments account was disabled because it violates Facebook's Terms of Service. To protect our users, we can't confidently re-enable your payments account at this time.  Please note, we take many factors into account when disabling payments, including spend history, ad characteristics, and contradictory account information.

Any tips on what to do? I have tried to just delete my business manager but it won't let me. So far my personal account has been disabled, business manager restricted, ad account on my personal page disabled, and the main ad account on my business manager restricted. I still have no idea as to what I have done wrong.

Did you by any chance use a credit card that was previously used on a banned account? I've seen this happen a lot when clients do that.

Also, for new accounts, you can't spend too much money right off the bat. They usually insta ban accounts for that. Gotta start slow at like $10/day.

Unfortunately, FB is the worst advertising platform there is. Really the only thing you can do is wait for the appeal to go through, or create a new account with a VPN.

Do the associate an IP address with each account is that why you would need a vpn for a new account?

Hi @SideHustler29,

Unfortunately, FB support isn’t working well. So, you can either send another request (and wait) or create everything from scratch - BM, ad account…

However, make sure you’re using a completely different email address and also credit card.

I put together steps you should do when your FB ads have been rejected or ad account has been disabled in one of my blog posts. If interested, here’s the link: https://www.nikikozak.me/shopify-qa/2021-10-06-ads-account-banned/

Send me a link to your store to niki@hey.com and I'll help you out.
For more info what I do, visit my agency website ecommercepot.com or my personal website nikikozak.me.

Hi SideHustler

If your Facebook ads accounts are not working well, you can still try Google Ads. Why should you consider advertising on Google? While Google users are looking for something proactively and they are in purchase process, Facebook users are simply browsing the social media and viewing photos.

  • Facebook ads have low conversion rate and lower quality leads.
  • While Facebook is often cheaper than Google Ads, it is not the same audience.
  • Someone who is looking for a product on a search engine is entirely different than that of someone who is chatting with their friends on Facebook and coincidentally sees your ads.

Even if your brand new Shopify store needs traffic to start getting customers or your already settled store needs an extra push of traffic visibility, Google Ads is definitely a potential solution that you should consider using. With Google Ads, you will be able to bring traffic or potential customers that are looking on Google for the products you are selling. This Google Ads free app for Shopify is essential in this sense.
