SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
So I just started fakebook ads and I'm getting a bunch off add to carts but no checkouts! I offer free shipping and have multiple payment options. I cant seem to figure out why none of these are converting! I don't know if it because I have the ads conversions set to add to cart? I can cant figure it out for the life of me. hoping maybe you guys can help!
( please ignore the one sale, that was me trying to see if my checkout worked)

Hello @Swabs,
This is Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $7Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.
I understand your frustration, and I have some suggestions to help you figure out why you're getting add-to-carts but not many checkouts on your Shopify store with Facebook ads.
* Website Load Time
If your website takes too long to load, it can lead to higher bounce rates and abandoned carts. Make sure your website is optimized for speed and performance, especially on mobile devices.
* User Experience (UX)
Analyze the user experience on your website. Is it easy to navigate? Are the product pages clear and informative? Are there any technical issues or broken links that might be hindering the checkout process?
* Checkout Process
As you mentioned, you offer free shipping and multiple payment options, which is great. However, the checkout process should be as seamless as possible. Ensure that customers don't encounter any obstacles during the checkout process and that the steps are clear and straightforward.
* Trust and Credibility
Customers may abandon their carts if they don't feel confident about the legitimacy of your website or the security of their personal information. Display trust badges, customer reviews, and secure payment logos to build trust.
* Shipping and Return Policy
Double-check that your shipping and return policies are clear and easy to find. Customers may hesitate to complete their purchase if they are uncertain about these details.
* Product Descriptions and Images
Make sure your product descriptions are accurate and compelling. High-quality images and detailed descriptions can increase customer confidence in the product.
* Abandoned Cart Recovery
Use Shopify's built-in abandoned cart recovery feature to automatically send reminder emails to customers who have left items in their carts. These emails can encourage customers to complete their purchase.
* Facebook Ad Targeting
Reevaluate your Facebook ad targeting. Ensure that you are reaching the right audience who are genuinely interested in your products. Refine your target demographics and interests if necessary.
* Ad Creatives
Review your ad creatives, including images and copy. Do they clearly convey the value proposition of your products and encourage users to click through to your website?
* Ad Conversion Settings
It's possible that having your ad conversions set to "Add to Cart" might be misleading the Facebook algorithm, leading to a lack of focus on actual checkouts. Consider changing the ad conversion to "Purchase" to see if that improves results.
* Split Testing (A/B Testing)
Conduct A/B testing on different ad creatives, copy, and targeting options to identify which combinations yield the best results.
* Mobile Optimization
Ensure that your website is fully optimized for mobile devices, as a significant portion of Facebook users access the platform on their phones.
By carefully analyzing these factors and making the necessary adjustments, you should be able to improve your conversion rate. Remember that it's a continuous process of testing, learning, and optimizing.
Good luck with your Shopify store, and if you have more specific questions, feel free to ask!
