I just checked my Abandoned Checkouts for the first time. Out of 45 failed transactions, only 2 were recovered. Over 2,000.00 USD in "Not Recovered" sales in just the last 3 months! My account is set up to automatically send them an email. None of the transactions say why they failed.
What is everyone else doing to try and get these customers back? That is a lot of cash left on the table!
Hey there!
I totally understand how frustrating it can be to see potential sales slip through the cracks. It seems like you've got a good automated system in place, but sometimes a personal touch can make a big difference. Reaching out manually via emails, texts, or even a friendly phone call can be incredibly effective. Not only does this give you a chance to win back the sale, but it also offers invaluable insights into why customers might be abandoning their carts.
You can use this feedback to fine-tune your store's experience and improve your automated follow-up strategies. Plus, that direct contact with a real human can positively reflect on your customer service reputation.
Give it a try, and you might see those "Not Recovered" numbers start to drop.
Best of luck!
