Am I targeting the incorrect audience with my ads?

I launched my website on 1st Feb 2024, so it is still a very new site. I am running Google ads and social media ads, and I have set my target audience as the UK, but when I check website viewers on Shopify I see most of them are not from the UK. So I wanted to know if I am doing something wrong as I don't want to miss out on sales.

Might be they're using VPN's.

Also loads of bots crawl the internet so some of the clicks will be them

I used Google performance max campaigns that targeted worldwide, but I only sold in the UK, these actually performed pretty well regardless (4x ROAS). So don't worry too much
