Are all Facebook tracking levels GDPR compliant and how do they affect sales?

Setting up Facebook, we can choose to track our customers in 3 levels:

Conservative - Enhanced - Maximum

Are they all GDPR compliant? Why would someone choose, say, Enhanced over Maximum?

We can also switch it off (there are some important ethics considerations here), but what are the implications on sales?

Yes, they are all GDPR compliant. It doesn't matter what you put there the pixel will not work before they click they accept cookies.

If you spend money on Facebook ads there are no need for not going for the Maximum. In a world of ios 14 the better and more accurate data, you can get the better your chances of optimisation of your store in the future.

Do not worry about the GDPR if you set up your cookie bar properly there is nothing to worry about ethical standpoint.
