What are the top things to consider when designing copy and creative for womens clothing brand awareness campaign on Facebook?

Hi @ekrom399,

there are a few things I would definitely consider:

• What specifically are you selling? Would like to raise awareness of the brand or specifically of one category/product?


• The audience — I would specify the audience in detail (age, interests…), and show a typical person wearing the products you sale in the ad copy.

• The brand campaign shouldn’t be that salesly but rather more informative about the brand — about the benefits, the products. Don’t use e.g. the Shop now CTA but rather Learn more or similar.

• If possible, I would test different ad formats — for sure video (you can also create an audience based on people who watched x secs of the video), carousels, single images…

•  Be prepared that brand campaigns don’t usually bring much traffic nor sales. So spend wisely.

• In the ad copy, don’t force people to buy the products. Just inform about the brand/products. The aim should be to show the brand, not drive the sales.

• You can also shoot a video and feature in the video as the founder of the shop wearing the products you sale.

• At the same time, I would set up a traffic campaign and a conversion campaign.

• Ads are a lot about testing, so prepare more ad copies!
