Best practices for product images?

So a couple of questions regarding product images.    

How important is your file name? does giving it the name gummybearnecklace rather than img0001  have a large impact on SEO and search results?

Regarding alt text is something simple best? something like "chocolate chip cookie earrings" or more descriptive like "handmade polymer clay chocolate chip cookie post earrings".  Do I add in things to the descriptors like "side view of ____" or "back view of_______"?

gummybearnecklace or gummy-bear-necklace because it is easy to memorize by user. Also, it is easy to search this image in Search Engine some user type "gummy bear necklace".

Regarding alt text is something simple best? something like "chocolate chip cookie earrings" or more descriptive like "handmade polymer clay chocolate chip cookie post earrings".  

I think "chocolate chip cookie earring" to make shorter the alt text.

Do I add in things to the descriptors like "side view of ____" or "back view of_______"?\

No need I guess.
