Hi There, how everybody safe.

So, trying to improve my  store performance on Organic Searach ( Not Add)

I Think would be good save some time if every merchant had a list of  5 ( or little bigger ) metrics to check their site performance for ORGANIC SEARCH ...

I am taking some SEO classes and during the discussion I will post here some of the things I have learned but ...

Maybe someone else would like to share some metrics from Google Analytics or even Shopify Analytics ...

What you think should be a good metric to check and what analysis do you do ?

Choosing 5 is touch but here my top 5:

- Acquisition (and where referrals are coming from so I can target more like that)

- Organic search traffic (Acquisition > All Traffic > Channels) because this is my goal in most sites, to increase organic traffic (paid ads always get more pricey and competitive every year)... and to an extent landing pages from organic search to see what works and what doesn't.

- Conversion rate (not on GA though because it's not accurate, I look in Shopify Analytics for this)

- Behavior > Site Content to see what pages people interact with

- Behavior > Site Search to see what people are searching for (sometimes it can give clues into new product ideas, or insights on how hard / easy it is to find stuff)

• Creator of Order Automator (automate tagging, fulfillment, FBA, notifications, fraud, and more)
• Shopify developer for 10+ years, store owner for 7 years
• I make guides like Shopify Automation Tips and How to Deal with Fraud and Chargebacks
