Building Instagram Following

My store has only been active for one month and Im trying hard to build followers on instagram but only getting one a day if that ,at that rate it will take years before I have enough to make a difference with sales on the store,my question is how can I increase this number ? Im adding good content and running competions regularly and have given samples to some influencers but they have yet to upload anything.

Any advice ?
