SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
An SEO team that is helping with a project I am also currently also on is requesting me to remove extra links that are across the entire site which have previously been forwarded via 301 redirect to a new URL in order to eliminate extra and double links. Does anyone have a suggestion to bulk find and replace to help with this? The report we received that lists the affected links does not detail where the corresponding URL resides so if this had to be done manually, it would involve searching across bulk exports, back-end searches, and source methods. I was just wondering if anyone else has ever come across this task before or if there were any recommended solutions.
Thank you!
hey, hmm they they did not give you a list with the URLS containing all the 301 redirects ??
We have the affected link that needs updating, and the final link of what it needs to be updated to, however not the locations of where those links are in order to make the updated change.
damn and they didn't give you the pages to find these links? to find these links i'll have to run a crawl and then find patterns between the pages with a 301 redirect
