So I've implemented the Buy Button/Add to Cart feature on my site (and I'm on the Shopify Lite plan)
Any ideas on how I properly pass sales information back to Google Analytics? I'm passing UTM parameters through from my marketing tests, and I'd like to know which are performing, and which are not.
My site runs on Wordpress, and I'm sorta familiar with code so I'm happy to monkey around with the source.

You are welcome to check out Google Analytics Cross domain tracking to see if that will work for you! It helps track movement from one site to another

There is an app as well in the app store called Analytics buddy, it might be useful to check out as well and see if it would be able to track cross domain movement- https://apps.shopify.com/analyticsbuddy
I always recommend getting in touch with an app developer before trying them out,to ensure you like how the app will work with your store! You can do that from the app store by clicking **Get Support**

Did anybody get any luck tracking your sales from the Shopify Buy Button?
For now Google Analytics sees someone who clicks "checkout" as a new direct visitor with no history, it's very frustrating to not be able to attribute the sales to the channel...

Here's instructions for how to easily feed the referrer URL to Google Analytics every time the Buy Button is clicked and the cart opens. Enjoy!
