I have Google tag tracking set up using the automated integration of the Google & Youtube Shopify app.
I want to delay firing of the Google tag because it is slowing down my page loading. This is how the tag appears in my Google Tag Manager. Of note, this tag is not associated with my Tag Manager Account (as shown to the left of "Google Tags").
Clicking through to the tag, there is no option to delay firing.
Does anyone know how to delay firing using the GTM interface or by editing code on my Shopify site (Dawn theme) to delay when the Google & Youtube app loads?
As another possible solution, does anyone know how to associate the automated Google Tag with my GTM Account? When clicking into the GTM account, there are options to customize the code and create trigger conditions -- but these options are not available when using the automatically configured tag.

The Google & YouTube app for Shopify automatically integrates Google tags into your store's code, and these tags typically load asynchronously to minimize impact on page load times. However, if you're experiencing performance issues, you can take the following actions:
The tags added by the Google & YouTube app are not directly managed through your GTM account, which limits your ability to control their behavior. To integrate these tags into GTM:
By implementing GTM manually, you gain enhanced control over your tags, allowing you to optimize their loading behavior and improve your site's performance. Always test changes in a controlled environment before deploying them to your live site to ensure they function as intended without negatively impacting user experience.
