Can I recreate a deleted workflow step for welcome emails?

Hello,

 

I accidentally deleted the step Customer didn't subscribe at checkout in the workflow to send new subscribers a welcome email. I tried recreating it. If someone could tell me if this is correct would appreciate it. I basically want to send a customer who has subscribe a welcome email with a code for free shipping but dont want to do this if they subscribed while checking out.

From the workflow shown in the image, it looks like you’ve correctly recreated the step. The condition checks whether the "Email subscription method" is "Not equal to CHECKOUT," which means that customers who subscribed at checkout will be excluded from receiving the welcome email.

 

In short, your setup is correct for ensuring that only customers who subscribed outside of checkout (e.g., via a pop-up or form on your site) will get the welcome email with the free shipping code.
