Can I use my own email list to send emails from shopify?

Hello: I want to send emails from shopify. Can I use my own emails. I have a list of emails. But I have not subscibers on my shopify store. Can I use my own email list?

Shopify is not an email hosting service, so the only way to contact customers is if they are subscribers, in which case you would be able to send them marketing material using Shopify Email.

If this is not the case, you would need to contact your customers through a third-party app or by simply emailing them from your own email host.

It's usually best practice to get permission from someone before emailing them. In fact, it would I would highly recommend that you check out our help document on Data privacy and legal compliance for email marketing campaigns.

About your question, if you don't have those emails in your Customers page on Shopify admin, you can use an third party app to make the email marketing campaign instead.
