Can Shopify's pop-up box trigger email automation?

I need some help please, 

I have setup and automation to send out an email when some signs up, does Shopify have a pop up box that i can use that will trigger the automation the same way as the banner?

Currently i have mail chip but its not able to trigger so want to get rid
