Change sender image on emails from Shopify?

Hi,

We want to change the sender image for our outgoing email notifications to customers (The little circle next to emails when you see them in the inbox) I've attached a screenshot to clarify what I mean! So far I can't see a way to do this. Has anyone had any success doing this and know how to change?

Thanks!

Hi @NirvanaBrewery

Can I ask what is the email address you are using as sender? Is it gmail or others?

It's a Gmail address that's linked to our shopify. We have managed to change the sender image for outgoing emails when sent directly from our Gmail, but not for email notifications that are sent from shopify (i.e. purchase successful, delivery notifications).

Hi @NirvanaBrewery

I believe a Shopify agent could help you check in the backend to see if there's any issue. Please contact Shopify live chat here for more support. An agent will chat directly with you.

Thanks @AvadaCommerce

I had a chat with support, but unfortunately they seemed not to know how to do this. I had wondered if someone within the Shopify community had a solution.

Saying that, I think we have managed to resolve now by changing our profile pic for the Shopify community forum.

Thanks for all your replies!

And how have you already tried to do this? Have you looked in the profile settings?

To change the sender image in emails from Shopify, you need to run the /tag filter command. As a result, you should see all the classes in ContentType_Name format.
Delete the entire file named contenttype_login and remove all the parts that start with the '#' symbol.
Add a single '#' at the end of the content type.body file and close the file
Make sure all files from Shopify have been converted back to the original PNG format. Then close all the files and go to the next step.
For the future, if you need to optimize your business in Shopify, I recommend contacting SAP Integrations.

I have run into this problem as well, but I am not sure where to find these list of steps. Is this a code?

Hi,

Yes and no! I moved my email marketing to Klaviyo. They offer pictures on
email under two conditions.
1. Your logo is trademarked
2. There was another option, I forgot.
Would you like me to forward the email to you?

Here is the email send to me via Klaviyo

Thank you for reaching out to Klaviyosupport! We appreciate your patience
here. My name is Charlie and I’m happy to assist with your request.

Currently, there are two options to add your logo to your sending domain.

The first, is to use BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification)
within Gmail.

BIMI will work with Gmail and Verizon Media-powered email addresses. Among
Verizon’s email properties: AOL and Yahoo Mail. So, most email sending
domains.

In order to use BIMI, your logo will need to be trademarked.

BIMI is controlled by Gmail, not Klaviyo.

*Instructions on how to add BIMI to your sending domain can be found here
on page 4 under 'What do I need to do to use BIMI?'*
<>
*.*

The other option in order to have your company's logo attached to the
sending domain is to use Gravatar.

Gravatar is the third-party platform that allows you to create an account
and add various profile information, such as a profile picture. This
information is publicly available on the web and can be used other
software. When you create an account with Klaviyo, we use the email
associated with your account and automatically look for an associated
Gravatar account. If we find one, we populate your Gravatar profile picture
into your Klaviyo account.

First, log into Gravatar <> with the same email
as your Klaviyo account. If you don't have a Gravatar account or need to
make one with your Klaviyo account, you can make one for free
<>. Click on the profile icon in the upper
right-hand corner and drag in the photo you want to use for the account.
Click Change My Photo and wait for the success message. There will be a
small delay for Gravatar to sync to your Klaviyo account, but within a half
hour or so, you should see a change to your Klaviyo photo.

Don't hesitate to contact us <> if you
have any additional questions!

Are you serious? For the logo…… are we talking about the same thing lol?

Yes, according to the google article of Logo and BIMI to have emails sent out with the brand identification logo it must get a VMC  (verification mark certificate). According to the two companies that process the VMC, that's the only way to have the senders brand logo appear in all recipients inbox's

Did you say Klaviyo have fixed this and your emails send with your desired image? If so please may you send an email to contact@instantflyte.com so I can see if they had fixed the problem?

No, Klaviyo has not said anything about this issue being fixed.

In regards to the previous message, have you checked out the second option?
All you needed was the trademark.

Thank you!

BIMI method needs a trade mark and a VMC. Sorry, have you not solved the issue yourself yet? Or are you no longer needing it? I'm confused
